2. Tap 'Future booking'
3. In the calendar, tap on the days in upcoming weeks when you would like to park. When the day turns blue, your request has been submitted
4. To request parking further into the future, tap 'More weeks' and continue selecting days!

Prioritised requests are more likely to become successful bookings. You get one priority request per week. To use it...
1. Open the Parkable app and tap on the pink pin

3. Request a park in an upcoming week
4. When the request turns blue, tap on the day again and select 'Prioritise this request' in the menu
5. A red badge means the request has been prioritised!

With ‘future booking’, you can request parking on any day in the future. Each Friday at midday, Parkable’s allocation algorithm fairly distributes the available car parks for the following week, based on who has requested parking.
How future booking works
Request your parking: You can request a park for any days in the future using the booking calendar in the Parkable app. You will find the calendar under the ‘future booking’ button within your organisation’s pink building pin.
Prioritise certain days: If you really want to park on a certain day, you can make your parking request a ‘priority’. This increases your chance of a successful booking. By default, everyone gets one priority request each week, but this may vary depending on your organisation.
Weekly allocation: Allocations are given on a weekly basis. Requests for the following week are run through Parkable’s allocation algorithm, which fairly determines who has parking on which days for the week ahead. Check with your organisation on the allocation day and time.
Parking confirmation: Once parks for next week are distributed, you will be informed via email and notification. The app will tell you on which days you have a booking, and on which days you have been waitlisted for the week ahead.
Open the gate from your phone
1. Ensure you have a booking or active session on Parkable, and that Bluetooth is turned on
2. Tap into your booking, active session, or subscription in Parkable
3. The 'Open gate' button will turn green when you are within range. Tap the button to open the gate!
FAQs
Can I increase my chances of successful parking requests?
Yes, you can. Parkable’s allocation algorithm takes into account your parking behaviour, and rewards positive behaviour with a higher likelihood of successful parking requests.
Positive behaviour includes: 1. Showing up at the car park when you have a booking, and 2. Cancelling the bookings you no longer require.
You will also reduce your chance of successful parking requests with negative behaviour, which includes: 1. Parking in someone else’s reserved car park, and 2. Not showing up when you have a booking.
This helps to ensure that bookings are effectively used!
What if I need to park onsite, but the parking allocation for the week has already happened?
Even after the weekly allocation has occurred, you can still request parking for any day of the week.
To park today, simply open your organisation’s pin in the Parkable app. If the ‘Start parking’ button is green, you can immediately begin a session. If the button is grey, there is no parking available, but you can check again later in the day; someone may cancel their booking or leave the car park.
To request parking on another day in the coming week, open the booking calendar in the Parkable app and tap on the day when you would like to park. If parking is available, your request will automatically be confirmed as a successful booking. If parking is not available, you will immediately be added to the waitlist and notified if parking becomes available for you.
Once I have a confirmed booking, what do I need to do?
You don't have to do anything! When the car park opens on the morning of your booking, an active parking session will automatically begin. Just drive in and park in your assigned bay.
If you have a confirmed booking but no longer need to park for the day, remember to cancel your booking so that someone else can use your spot!

3. Here you can see all of your confirmed bookings, this week's waitlisted requests, and requests for upcoming weeks that have not yet been allocated
4. If you click into a confirmed booking, you'll find your parking details including your assigned bay number
